National Pension System (NPS) is a defined contribution based pension system, regulated by PFRDA and promoted by Government of India.

It offers following tax benefits:

• Income Tax benefit u/s 80(c), upto Rs.1.50 lakh
• Further tax benefit u/s 80CCD(1B) upto Rs.50,000/-
• All benefits at all level are tax free.

Union Bank of India in association with NSDL is offering ONLINE facility for opening and making subsequent contributions towards NPS. Customers, who are having a valid Bank account with Internet Banking facility in any bank can open the NPS account or make further contribution using our banking channel.
